About the Role
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies. You will collaborate with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to identify test scenarios and ensure robust test coverage.
Your role will involve creating and maintaining scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing while monitoring test results and troubleshooting issues.
You will also provide recommendations for improving test efficiency and work towards integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) in test automation engineering or software testing.
Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
